Who needs Enemies: 7/7 Where is your heart?
Not everyone will respond positively to you, but you can pray and decide to have a harmonious relationship despite the difficulties you encounter. You will encounter difficult people in your life. But to give in to the temptation to undermine or hurt them in any way is not God’s way. Instead, we should pray for them, show consideration, look for ways of loving them and have a positive attitude towards them. This may result in changing an enemy into a friend. God is love, that’s why he died for us all, and God expects us to share His love all of us.
You will not losing anything while making your enemy a friend, you are gaining one more precious stone in your life. And how sure are you that they won’t be good enough with you till you take a step and start somewhere? If you wait for them to step up, then that could be impossible maybe because of fear or pride. Also faith matters can result to enemity, thinking that you’re superior to the other. It is high time to stop judging each other’s religion and share the unconditional love God showed us all. It just takes courage and a wise step to forgive someone.
Try to Imagine this … the animosity is gone, the fight is over, no more hurt, anger or fear among yourselves. The whole situation is gone and forgotten. You look forward to peaceful life. Enemies aren’t born, they are made, and they can be destroyed by love and forgiveness. You can choose a lifetime of animosity or a lifetime of friendship. But why should we hate each other yet we were all created by God in His own image.
