Who needs Enemies : 2/7 How do we relate with Muslims
Christians and Muslims have many things in common. We worship in Holy places that is, in Churches and Mosques. We have so many similarities together. Our religions outwardly look very similar.
But why do we picture Muslims as wild-eyed terrorists who want to bomb and kill all Christians? Yet overwhelming majority of Muslims are peace and loving people. Muslims are human beings; they are people, like any other. They are concerned about the same things you and me do. Like raising children well, they are also concerned about the crimes they are accused for. Many Muslims yearn for peace, friendship and a happy life too, but people try to turn them down because of the accusations lied to them by other terrorists, yet we share the same concerns and needs in our lives.
“From one man, He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth”. And to me this includes the Muslims too. God is not far from each one us. God loves Muslims in the same way He loves all people. Muslims are also created in the image of God as we read in Genesis 1:26-27. I believe Muslims have sinned and fall short of God’s glory as Christians do. God loved all humans so much that He sent His son, so that if we believe in Him will have eternal life. Therefore, if God loves us all, why shouldn’t we love each other too, so that we can share Gods love all together .We are children of God lets live in peace and unity despite our challenges and differences in any way.
